SINGAPORE CHINESE ORCHESTRA
The People’s Orchestra
Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO), inaugurated in 1997, is Singapore’s only professional national Chinese orchestra. SCO, made up of more than 80 musicians, occupies the Singapore Conference Hall, which is a national monument.
Virtuosos and Classics
As part of the 3-part Virtuoso Series concerts, an 8-part webisode series titled "Virtuosos and Classics" focuses on the 8 musicians’ chosen classic Chinese repertoires. The series strives to give our audience a deeper insight and understanding of the music, before enjoying the Virtuoso Series concerts.
