SCO’s season opening gala will kickstart with two internationally-renowned keyboard classical stars. Award-winner pianist Sun Yingdi, who won the gold medal at the 7th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition, will perform two famous Chinese piano works – Against Typhoon, a masterpiece orchestrated by Lo Leung Fai from Liu Shikun’s piano solo work and Yellow River Piano Concerto. American-Taiwanese organist Chelsea Chen will debut with SCO and will perform Kuan Nai-chung Symphony No. 2. Don’t miss this chance to watch Esplanade Concert Hall’s pipe organ, the biggest in Singapore, in action!
