The Dance of Dunhuang Huang Xiao Fei
Listening, meditating and dreaming. SCO’s dizi musician Tan Chye Tiong and guzheng musician Xu Hui, will share their musical journeys and dreams. An exponent of Chinese painting, Tan Chye Tiong, together with Xu Hui, will paint the scene of the piece “Along the River During Qing-Ming Festival”. Xu Hui will present Lotus on Water and Dance of Dunhuang. The finale piece Breaking Spring, features a beautiful duet between the guzheng and the shakuhachi. This recital promises you an evening of absolute serenity
