Internationally-renowned conductor Shao En is the Chief Conductor of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and the Principal Guest Conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra. He will debut with SCO and present to you a delightful selection of pieces from Yang Liqing’s Song of Sadness to Guan Xia’s Farewell, My Concubine. Shao En will also conduct his own composition, Xiao Bai Cai Capriccioso. SCO musicians, erhu principal Zhao Jianhua will perform the Third Movement from Symphonic Suite: Qiao’s Grand Courtyard and Chang Le, suona associate principal will perform The Summon of Phoenix.
