This is the fourth season of the Singapore Youth Chinese Orchestra’s Elegant Music Series chamber recital. These young musicians’ passion for their music burns ever brighter. This concert will showcase each sectional group’s musical and technical virtuosity. Guanzi and guqin will perform a duet of the Three Variations of the Parting at Yangguan. The suona quintet will play Sui Li Jun’s mysterious Tune of God; and Wang Dan Hong’s Dynamic Plucked Strings which will showcase the percussion and plucked-strings musicians.
