This Hakka-themed concert features established artistes from China, Taiwan and Singapore to present a feast of Hakka folk songs and works. Famous Hakka vocalist Huang Hong Ying will serenade with Hakka folk songs while Taiwanese composer and singer Huang Lien Yu will sing and play on the guitar and harmonica. 2nd prize Piano Artist winner of the National Piano & Violin Competition 2011, Clarence Lee, will play Kuan Nai-chung’s Folk Song for Piano and Orchestra. Earth House Nocturne, a specially commissioned composition by Wang Ning, will be premiered in this concert.
