Singapore, 12 September 2014 (Saturday) – In this all-new English-language concert for children between 2 to 5 years old, Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) creates an all-new programme for the little ones on a fun-filled and enriching musical journey!

Choreographed by SCO newly-appointed Assistant Conductor Moses Gay, this concert aims to sensitize the little toddlers to the sounds of Chinese orchestra from various instruments like winds, bowed-strings, plucked-strings and percussion by exposing them to the music of different countries! Cast in story-telling mode, the concert follows the adventures of Momo, the Nerdy Boy. Momo was playing in the field one day when he accidentally fell and his spectacles flew off and landed onto a horse carriage! Having serious short-sightedness, he chased after the sound of the galloping horse with the help of his ears. As the carriage galloped across different lands, he came across different musical styles – from America’s The Syncopated Clock to Italy’s O Sole Mio and China’s Bamboo Tune among others.

Don’t miss this very first Concert for Little Tots by SCO, a concert that promises to bring lots of fun and musical joy to the young ones! Join Momo for a fun and exciting musical journey in search of his missing spectacles!
