National Chinese Music Competition 2018



Co-organised by the National Arts Council and Singapore Chinese Orchestra Company Limited, the National Chinese Music Competition is a platform that celebrates excellence in traditional Chinese music. This biennial competition aims to develop the performing skills of young musicians and identify promising new talents. It also provides opportunities for young musicians to perform on a competitive platform, before an international jury.

The official competition period will be from 26th November to 9th December 2018.

Each entry must be made on the official entry form and reach the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Co Ltd by Friday 31 August 2018, 5pm. Entries received after this date and time will not be considered and appeals will not be entertained.
